Dating online? How do you select your geographical area in your search?
Like most others, you are probably searching for singles near you. This may be not the best way to find a mate.

, which suggests that if you are looking for single women, your best bet is to search on the East coast (NY, NJ, etc.) and if you are looking for men - go West (LA).

No wonder. A recent Ipsos-Reid survey reports that most people believe that singles have a better chance of meeting someone online rather than at a singles bar.

No kidding? I wonder, where the other people see the difference …
Although there are hundreds of dating sites out there … unfortunately most offer the same functionality.
