Virtual Dating Compares Favourably with Webcam Dating

Few weeks ago, I posted a blog where I compared virtual dating and webcam dating. A couple of days ago I came across some interesting stats on the use of webcam dating, which strongly coincide with my earlier assertions.

According to a survey by MakeFriendsOnline.com, while men are open to webcam dating, women are not.

In the survey, 72% of male respondents indicated that they liked webcams and wanted to use them on dating sites. Webcam dating appealed particularly to younger people under the age of 25.

However, an astounding 63% of female respondents said they don’t like webcams and most certainly don’t want to use them on dating sites!

These webcam usage results stand in sharp contrast to OmniDate’s virtual dating. I am pleased to share that on www.omnidate.com, there are actually more women users than men (55% women/45% men) and roughly half of all users are over the age of 30!

Nice survey.. but the difference between both the reports is very large. It is true that women don’t like dating on webcams might be because they are more suspicious of males (:O)
